We keep the data we collect small, and we don't sell it. This page explains what we store and why.

What we collect

Account: name, email, phone number, password (hashed), and profile fields you choose to fill in.

Content: the books, chapters, covers, and drafts you upload.

Usage: pages you visit, books you buy, and basic device information for analytics and abuse prevention.

Payments: order ID and payment ID from our payment partner. We do not store card numbers.

How we use it

To operate your account, deliver books you buy, pay authors, and reply to your emails.

To improve the product and detect fraud, spam, and copyright abuse.

To send transactional emails from no-reply@email.writro.in — receipts, password resets, and account notices. We do not sell your data or send marketing emails without consent.

Who we share it with

Our infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email delivery, payment processing) — only as needed to run Writro.

When required by law, a valid court order, or a well-founded copyright complaint.

Your rights

You can edit or delete profile fields from /profile at any time.
